SADTU Online School to Host General Secretary Dr Mugwena Maluleke to discuss the Union’s Constitution
The South African Democratic Teachers’ Union (SADTU) is pleased to announce that its Online Political School will host the Union’s General Secretary, Dr Mugwena Maluleke, on Wednesday, 30 July 2025, at 16H00.
Dr Maluleke will delve into the SADTU Constitution, providing an in-depth explanation of this vital document. The Constitution is the Union’s cornerstone — defining its purpose, governance structures, leadership responsibilities, and guiding principles. It ensures accountability, fairness, and clarity in the Union’s operations.
This important session forms part of SADTU’s commitment to its 2030 Vision, particularly the pillar of “Promoting a Development-Oriented Nation State”. The Online Political School is led by SADTU’s Political and Trade Union Education Officer, Comrade Paul Komane, and serves as a critical platform for political and ideological development among members.
