Here’s to a bright future filled with success, growth, and endless possibilities. Well done!
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all stakeholders who have played a vital role in supporting our learners’ academic journey.
To our dedicated educators, your commitment and passion have been the foundation of their success. To parents and guardians, your unwavering encouragement and involvement have been valuable. To community members, partners, and organizations, your contributions – whether through resources, mentorship, or motivation – have made a significant impact. Together, we have empowered our learners to achieve their goals and realise their potential.
As we acknowledge and celebrate this success, we call on communities to join education unions around the world in building inclusive, quality education for all through the global campaign # Go Public Fund Education. This campaign is an urgent call for governments to invest in public education, a fundamental human right and public good, and to allocate more resources to teachers, the single most important factor in achieving quality education. We resist budget cuts, austerity measures and the privatization of education.
To the learners who did not succeed, note that failure is not the end – it’s a steppingstone to future success. We call on the department to provide the necessary support and resources to this group of learners.
We wish the class of 2025 the best of luck and encourage them to start working hard from the beginning of the year. As educators and members of SADTU, we commit to doing everything we can to promote quality learning and teaching in our institutions.
