The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) is in the processes of taking bursary applications for the 2019 academic year for learners and students wishing to study at public TVET Colleges and Universities. Furthermore, we are entrusted to manage and administer the Fee Free Education Bursary as announced by government in 2017 for implementation starting in 2018.
The Bursary Applications period opened for 2019 following the announcement by the Minister of Higher Education and Training, Hon Naledi Pandor in appointing Or. Randall Carolissen as Executive Administrator.
The office of the Executive Administrator is requesting SAOTU to extend communication to its all structures and members about the existing funding opportunity of the NSFAS Bursary. As a union representing the poor and the working class, we urge you to encourage your members to apply on behalf of their children and relative before 30th November 2018.
