SADTU in the North West welcomes and appreciates the release of 2016 matric results. We want to congratulate all stakeholders inter alia, senior management of the Department under the Honorable MEC Sello Lehari, districts and area offices officials, principals, learners and selfless teachers; SADTU members to be specific. This we do following our knowledge of challenges facing the system. Indeed, the province with all its forces managed to prove no material condition of whatever magnitude can pull us down.
The South African Democratic Teachers Union notes the outcomes of the 2016 National Senior Certifcate examinations with a heavy heart. First we congratulate those learners and their teachers who have been successful. We wish these learners well in their future endeavours. We hope that they serve as an example that even in adverse material conditions, success is possible. We wish to thank our members and teachers generally for their efforts even in the most trying circumstances.
SADTU Gauteng welcomes the release of National Senior Certificate results today by MEC Panyaza Lesufi.
The results reflect an improvement from 2015 results from 84,2% to 85.1% .The results are also showing a qualitative advance through 37,582 Bachelor passes out of 103,829 learners who wrote the examination and represent the highest in the country.
